Meet Channy
Communications & Public Health Strategist, native of Washington, D.C., and Howard University Alum, Chantil is a grassroots girl, ready to impact the world.
With a history of working within the private and public sector, her areas of expertise include but are not limited to, health promotion, partnership development, health literacy, community engagement, capacity building, strategic planning and organizational development.
Considered a communication expert, Chantil is a brand development and marketing guru. She has been the mastermind behind local and national campaign rollouts. Chantil is a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Fellowship Alum, and has experience supporting congressional and executive level staff on Capitol Hill.
Working in integrated HIV services for nearly fifteen years, Chantil has been instrumental and influential, in using innovative approaches to help the District of Columbia eradicate HIV. This includes assisting with the rollout of the first PrEP housing program in the DC Metropolitan area in 2021.
Chantil is the CEO of Pretty Periods, LLC, which leverages resources for reproductive justice matters, and Period Poverty. Chantil is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She currently resides in the DC Metropolitan region.
